Medical Description

Copciz M tablet is a medication used to treat allergic rhinitis. It can alleviate various symptoms of the condition, including runny or stuffy nose, congestion, sneezing, itching, watery eyes and other allergic symptoms. This tablet contains montelukast and levocetirizine, which work together to block the production of chemicals that cause allergies and reduce inflammation in the airway, making breathing easier.

Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, is an inflammation or swelling inside the nose caused by allergens. To ensure the best results, take Copciz M tablet as directed by your doctor, following the correct dosage and duration of the treatment. Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food, and preferably at bedtime as advised by your doctor.

Copciz M tablet is used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis (symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, stuffiness, itching, red or teary eyes, etc.).

Contraindications of COPCIZ M OF 10 TABLETS

  • If you are allergic to montelukast or levocetirizine or any other ingredient of Copciz M tablet.
  • If you have kidney problems or are undergoing dialysis.
  • If you are unable to digest lactose and glucose (galactose intolerance).

Overdose

Symptoms of an overdose include sleepiness, aggression, restlessness, increased thirst, headache. If you experience any of the symptoms or think you have taken too many of Copciz M tablet, then contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

Missed a Dose

If you missed taking any dose of the Copciz M tablet, then take it as soon as you remember. However, if it’s time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.

How Does It Work?

  • Copciz M tablet works by the combined action of both its components: Montelukast and Levocetirizine.

  • Medicines used to treat fits or epilepsy like Phenytoin, medicines used to treat tuberculosis like Rifampicin should be used with caution along with this medicine.
  • Concomitant use of Copciz M tablet along with medicines used to treat anxiety or sleeplessness (CNS depressants) like Phenobarbital should be used cautiously.
